Ottawa Redblacks move on from offensive lineman Philippe Gagnon, clear up cap space, roster spot

In the mix of all the sports being canceled and postponed, the Ottawa Redblacks have decided to shuffle the roster around. Making changes to the roster, the Ottawa Redblacks and Philippe Gagnon have parted ways. The 27 year old offensive lineman was going onto year two of his Redblacks contract after being signed by the team last year in CFL free agency although Redblacks general manager Marcel Desjardins had other plans.

Releasing Gagnon, the Ottawa Redblacks have cleared $180,000 worth of cap space and are able to make more moves towards the 2020 CFL season.
