This year’s CFL off-season has been strange. Having a global pandemic just before the 2020 CFL season is giving a lot of CFL players a hard time and giving them many questions, but not for Nick Arbuckle. Arbuckle, the new franchise quarterback in the capital is looking to help Ottawa Redblacks fans in these times. He is very much aware of the struggles that everyone has had, and is willing to help the struggles.
Here’s a message he sent to R-Nation on twitter,
Hey RNation,
If you or somebody you know is social-distancing at home in Ottawa and not able to get to the grocery store regularly due to age, health, or any other reason, I would like to help. I work with an Ontario company that offers grocery & meal-delivery service to your home. They process orders online and can deliver fresh meals and groceries to your door. I have 3 $50 gift cards to use for online orders, and I want to give them to 3 people or families in the community that need them. Please DM me here on Twitter if you need them and I will provide you with the gift card code that you can use online on the company’s website. I will provide them to the first 3 people that reach out to me who need them, and hopefully I can provide more in the coming weeks.
Please, stay safe and God bless.
