Right now the Ottawa Redblacks have well over 25 wide receivers on the roster. In 2019 they only had 5 receivers catch passes in the regular season finale against the Montreal Alouettes on November 1st at TD Place. This was the last game that Ottawa played prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and by the looks of it they will have to bring the number from 25 all the way to around 10 receivers by August 7th when they hit the field once again in Edmonton against the Elks however that just became even harder as they continue to bring in quality talent at the receiver position. Today the team announced the signing of wide receiver Nate Behar.

Behar was actually one of the 5 receivers that caught a pass in the November 1st game against the Alouettes after spending two seasons with Edmonton where he was drafted in the first round of the 2017 CFL Draft. In 47 career games he has caught 43 passes for a total 426 yards and one touchdown. He has also found himself as a key contributor in the community here in Ottawa alongside teammate Justin Howell starting his own football academy “Formula 11” and now starting his own app “ATNMY” to help athletes build their platforms outside of football. Nate Behar will be a great addition on the offensive side of the ball but with all of the receivers on the roster coming into training camp on July 10th the only question is where will he be found on the depth chart and who else will be on it.
